This is a yummy and quick alfredo sauce that doesn't get stringy or funny or greasy. It stays smooth and creamy, even if you eat it as leftovers the next day.
{{Fettuccine Alfredo Sauce}}
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
3/4 cup milk
Melt cream cheese and butter in a saucepan over low to medium heat. Stir in Parmesan cheese and milk. Using a wire-wisk, stir over low heat until thickened. Serve over fettuccine noodles with sautéed chicken or shrimp. Garnish with fresh parsley.
I put the sauce over egg noodles instead of fettuccine noodles and then sautéed some chicken breasts in olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Ta Dah! Dinner is done in about 15 minutes. Serve with some salad.... DONE!
